We are looking for an ARCHIVE PHOTOGRAPHER who wants to help us digitize cultural heritage for the future!

ArkivDigital AD AB is seeking an employee for our workplace located in the Riksarkivet (Gothenburg) research room for a permanent part-time position. We photograph books with great care and efficiency. The images are then uploaded to our image service on the internet.

As an ARCHIVE PHOTOGRAPHER, you should be efficient, have great self-discipline, be meticulous, and reliable. It is an advantage if you can read older handwriting (17th/18th century), are knowledgeable in archival research/NAD, and have genealogical research skills. We also think it would be beneficial if you have been on-site and conducted research yourself.

We place great importance on personal suitability.

Please note that this position does not involve artistic work. Although it is labeled with the title “Photographer,” it is not a creative profession.

Training will be conducted internally for about two weeks.

The selection process is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. We do, of course, have a collective agreement.
